Manager of Graduate Nursing Partnerships (REMOTE)

Reports to: AGS Associate VP Online Marketing, Recruitment & Admissions

Position Summary

The Manager of Nursing Partnerships reports to the Associate VP Online Marketing, Recruitment & Admissions at Houston Christian University. The primary purposes of this position are to foster existing B2B partnerships and forge new ones, expanding the program's reach; engage decision-makers through various channels; and showcase the value of our programs in order to finalize new partnership contracts.

Job Responsibilities

  • Independently engage mid to senior-level executives and representatives of regional healthcare institutions through various communication channels to understand needs and articulate the value proposition of our programs
    • Deliver compelling and insightful presentations both onsite and virtually, fostering new partnerships and connections within the healthcare industry
    • Develop and implement effective partner communication strategies, ensuring seamless collaboration and mutual understanding between partners and our institution
    • Drive initiatives at partner locations, exceeding monthly and annual lead generation goals through strategic presentations and engagement activities
  • Proactively nurture relationships with partners, identifying collaboration opportunities and addressing concerns to ensure long-term success
    • Participate in industry events and conferences, representing our institution and identifying potential partnership opportunities
    • Collaborate with HCU staff and faculty to align partnership activities with the overall strategic goals and vision of the institution
    • Facilitate the establishment of Memorandum of Agreement/Understanding (MOA/MOU) with partnering institutions in coordination with the Graduate Nursing Success and Insight Analyst
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities, providing insights and recommendations for enhancing our partnership strategies
    • Utilize Microsoft 365 and other HCU computer tools to meticulously track, analyze, and optimize lead generation and partnership expansion efforts
    • Generate comprehensive reports and analyses on partnership performance, contributing valuable insights for strategic decision-making processes
  • Other duties as assigned

Other Duties and Responsibilities

  • Participate in monthly DSON staff/faculty meetings to provide status updates on partnerships and other information regarding events and other programming
  • Participate with the DSON Clinical Advisory Board
  • Participate in and contribute to accrediting processes for the University as well as the DSON

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or experience in a related field preferred
  • Prior experience working in industry, preferably with experience developing partnerships
  • Minimum of two years of direct client-facing experience in a business setting, showcasing expertise in client relationship management
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively within and outside the Houston, TX area, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to meet the demands of the role and support organizational needs
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, coupled with effective presentation and sales capabilities
  • Excellent ability to communicate and articulate the vision for MSN at HCU
